A few months ago a built myself a pc.

Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite motherboard. AMD Ryzen 5 7600. ASRock Intel Arc B580 Steel Legend graphics card. 4 X Teamgroup T-Force Delta DDR5 Ram.

Everything was working fine. Then a couple of weeks ago, my SSD failed. I just installed a new one. (No other hardware changes). Installed Windows and the Gigabyte Command Centre. Updated the bios and drivers. Now I have the CPU LED permanently illuminated on the motherboard.

I did notice that previously, in the Gigabyte Command Centre I could control the motherboard and Ram RGB. Now I only get the option for the Ram RGB.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Or if you're a gamer, and the light being on bothers you, pretend it just another LED.

At his point you can also put a piece of black tape over the led....

If the CPU led was working correctly, your computer would stop during POST and stay at the CPU test indefinitely. There is no meaning for a lit CPU led if the computer runs smoothly.
