So I recently found out that some of the newest square enix releases are available on Android at full price of their pc/console versions. This includes Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince and Saga Emerald Beyond, with the latter being priced on Android at $49.99. There's also a few ports on there that aren't available on PC, like the older Dragon Quest games. I'd like to know if anyone here has tried these versions out, how they compare to the pc/console versions, and if you think they're worth paying for.

Dark prince is a worse switch version as its missing all online functionality. As in the online npc isnt there. HOWEVER this also means half the features of the online npc that work offline and never need a connection like the daily market which has many otherwise impossible to get or otherwise one off items is now also not available.

As well as some dungeons and stuff have been altered/removed. Its basically a lesser version of the dark prince on switch.

On pc you can at least get the functionality back by enabling some stuff.

As for the dragon quest games basically 1to1 ports with some alterarions for touch screens and most have fast forwards n such built in now. Most do have some content cut, random encounters altered and are made easier.

Aka just emulate em for the same experience.
