I am just curious when you write that your budget is around 3000 dollars but this list sit at 3877 dollars.. That is significantly more than 3000 dollars.

Paying 350 dollar for an AIO is madness.

The motherboard is pretty but there are cheaper motherbaords in white.

RAM should be 6000Mhz CL30 for best compatability with Ryzen 7000/9000.

Same performance, a bit cheaper.

You're right, I forgot to mention that the monitor will be purchased later, which is what makes it so much higher than 3000.

As for the AIO, I like the way it looks, but I'm aware of its high price and am not entirely settled on it. Same with the motherboard, but most of the ATX motherboards I found were around the same price, not a huge difference.

Do you have any specific recommendations for RAM? Or would just going to this ram be better? Especially since the price difference isn't huge.

Fair enough about the monitor 🙂

Its a nice looking AIO but 350 bucks is a lot for aesthetics considering a 9800X3D can be cooled with a 40 dollar air cooler.

Sure, the B850 will perform just as well as the X870, 100 bucks is 100 bucks.. Thats two new games for your new rig 🙂

I am not going to tell you how and where to spend your money, just giving my opinions on it.

Any RAM as long as its 6000Mhz CL30.  The one you linked is 8400Mhz CL40.  It most likely won't even post once you enable 8400Mhz setting in the BIOS.

I simply can't see loving a PC brand so much you go nuts on their mediocre performing parts and pay 2x the price (2x for the cooler). Lian Li PSU even?

I guess since you're locked in, what are you actually asking us about?  You probably won't change things so what can we help with?

I would rather have a guaranteed stable system for basically the same performance though.

And at 8400Mhz, isnt the infinity fabric going to be all out of wack without manual tweaking? Its definitely not 1:1

The power supply was actually only picked because at the time, the Corsair one I wanted with the plug-ins on the side wasn't up on PCParpicker yet.

Oh my bad, I didn't see that, it has been a long day. The original RAM posted on the list is CL30 6400. I thought so, shouldn't it work? I guess I'm missing something. You are right about the motherboard, I changed it up and the AIO as well. I realised why it was so expensive.  It was the model that comes with little LCD screens on every fan, which is actually not the one I wanted. So just with that, I have dropped a little over 200$ off the build.

See, I dont mind spending a bit more on aesthetics or parts you really want. What I do mind is overspending by a significant amount.

This is a much better build while keeping a good white theme with quality components without affecting performance at all.

Good job 🙂  400$ is a lot of steam games for your new rig!

That is better, there are also other 5080s that are arguably better looking than the Ventus for cheaper. There are some Asus, Gigabyte, and PNY options at $999.99 or less. The ventus in my opinion is just a fugly card and there is no point in paying more for one than other OC models.

Main Desktop: CPU - i9-14900k | Mobo - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | GPU - PNY Gaming OC RTX 5080 16GB RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 64GB 6400mhz | AIO - Arctic Liquid Freezer III 360mm | PSU - Corsair RM1000X | Case - Hyte Y40 - White | Storage - Samsung 980 Pro 1TB Nvme /  Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus 4TB Nvme / Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB Nvme / Samsung 870 EVO 4TB SSD / Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD/ Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD|

The main reason I went with it was that it was white. I know there are better-priced cards, I just couldn't find any in white. To the point where instead I was thinking about going with a 5070ti.

Ahh, it is the white one, I thought you paid that much for the stock black OC model with the silver faceplate. That white ones not that bad in terms of looks. The black and silver is bleh.
