I want the best highest performance Gaming desktop in range of  900~950$

My suggestion was

CPU ==> i5 4670k

GPU ==> R9 280x or GTX 770

Ram ==> Kingstone HyperX Beast 8gb 2x4 @2400 mhz

Motherboard ==> Gigabyte GA-B85-HD3

PSU Corsair ==> CX750M 750W

Case ==> Couldn't made choice

Note * I prefer Intel CPU's and both Amd and Nvidia GPU's

the 770 and the 280x are very close in performance but i would probably recommend the 770 since it seems to do a bit better in benchmarks plus nvidia seems to be optimizing games much better than amd even if it inst amds fault.

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.

No point in getting a 'k' cpu with that motherboard. You want a Z97 board if you are going to overclock the cpu. If you don't want to overclock then get a non 'k' cpu.

For a single gpu then 550W psu is enough.

I Don't like overclocking but does it make a huge difference in the performance ?

Although I'm an Amd fanboy I thought about going towards Nvidia it has less issues :D

aren't the processor going to bottleneck the GPU ?

No the i5 probably wont bottleneck any gpu out there aside from maybe an r9 295x2. They are very powerful cpus.

It is always handy to have the option further down the line. If you dont want to then just get a non 'k' cpu. I would look at a H97 board rather than B85 as well, for a non 'k' cpu.

Got it :D in case of not overclocking does i need to get a cpu cooler or the stock cooler is okay ?
