7800x3d msi b650 tomahawk gskill flarex5 6000. so gaming stock cpu temp 70/71c when i use ryzen master curve optimizer -30 in game 65c. so it passes test but when i restart i have to use jbat to reset then go in bios to redo expo to get 6000mhz back and it keeps the -30. is the 6 to 8 degree even worth it. so i went back to stock i had to go back through same thing to get booted up and back to 70/71c while in game. should i even use ryzen master or get rid of it and set it up in bios. not alot of experience with this.

Lose Ryzen Master, and use the BIOS.

It isn't affecting performance as you're not hitting the thermal celling, but if it means pumping a little less heat into your office/room then I would do it.

 

Cooler is always better for most electronics (except the ones that need to heat up to a specific operating range).  

 

The 7800X3D is kind of a static chip.  You can eek a little more out of it but it's basically locked due to the 1st gen design of the 3D cache, unlike the 9800X3D.

 

PBO w/ Motherboard limits +200, CO -30.  Done.  Just enjoy the chip then.

When you go into  PBO, use Advanced (not Auto) it will ask you what parameter to use.  Do Motherboard.
