good basic used laptop reccomendations

hi,

 

my laptop recently broke and im looking to buy a new one used probbably from ebay. i havnt though about anything tech for ages so assume i know v little.

 

im looking for somthing that can do the basics (web browsing, netflix and studying) possibly a i5/ryzen5 

 

must be windows

battery life and wieght are important becuse i am going to take it traveling 

 

looking at ~£400

 

another option i have is i have a old framwork laptop with a fried mainbord i could fix but i dont know if anything else is broken, its pretty busted up and a new mainbord is £400 for a last gen ryzen so its probbably cheaper to get somthing else

 

my plan would be to use this laptop for a year or so then sell it (which would be easier for somthing non frame work id imagin)

Get a ThinkPad or Dell Latitude business laptop. They're not gaming monsters, but they're well made and designed to be serviced.
