There is an auction of an R9 295x2 and i can get it for about 1/2 the original price (hopefully).

I am unsure whether there may be a problem of it or coil whine or another issue. Apparently the seller says that he doesn't need it, WHO DOESN'T NEED AN R9 295x2?

Have you bought a GPU off ebay? If yes, was it in perfect condition?

Considering the r9 295x2 is the 2nd newest GPU (after the titan z), it shouldn't be in terrible condition.

Here is a link to the auction (please don't bid, i want it and it's austria only anyways): http://www.ebay.at/itm/Sapphire-Radeon-R9-295X2-Full-Retail-2x-4GB-GDDR5-inkl-OVP-Zubehor-/351084466560?pt=DE_Elektronik_Computer_Computer_Graphikkarten&hash=item51be43d180

He has good feedback but damn no real life pictures? on something like that, wouldn't trust that.

I once bought a 7770 from eBay had some good experience with that because I got it for 40 euro including shipping so I was happy.

Is the seller reputable/reliable?

EDIT: As @lani100 said, request pictures of the product with a piece of paper that has his username in the picture. That is good proof.

You tell me. I have never used ebay before. I am going to ask for pics as well as a receipt and probs a video showing that it works and that there is no abnormality with it.

This is an auction, clearly you don't know how they work as the price will increase very quickly in the final minutes, the price you see is not near the price it will finish for.

Chances are the item is 100% legit.

I am hoping to get it for less, cuz not many ppl in austria are interested in computer parts (PS on phone)

Oh, if you think there may be a lack of interest then good luck to you and I'd suggest taking advantage if that is indeed the case, the item looks fine. :)

eBay does have buyer protection which is good. I reckon the one you're looking at from the seller doesn't seem "shady", a lot of sellers don't post the real pictures of the actual product but do ask for them as others have suggested just so you know the buyer isn't hiding anything. If they refuse to do this, then I'd be a little wary and make decisions carefully.

He would (and should) send you pictures, but the receipt and a video of it working is going a little too far and he'd be going above and beyond if he did that. He might not send pictures either but it's usually common practice.
