1440p on a 780

Hello All,

 

Im looking into going to a higher resolution than 1080 on my GTX780. I want to know if this is doable at a decent frame rate on a single card? Also what monitors are good for a decent price point. I was looking at a Qnix one but again I have 0 experience north of 1080 so any advice is appreciated.

You can run a mix of high and ultra settings on 1440p I would say.

 

You can also look for the cheapest IPS 1440p on pcpartpicker, its currently like $400 USD in the US for it.

The video Linus did should give you a rough example (note it will be better now drivers have matured)

You can kind of calculate it now by running high AA levels.
