Currently building my first pc and in the parts deciding stage, already purchased a nzxt h7 flow 2024 case but it only comes with 3 front fans so i was wondering what fans i need to add or do i need to replace the ones it comes with, thanks.

What is your budget? Are you ok with a couple of 35$ fans or would you rather keep it simpler with 15$ fans?
The stock fans are more suited for exhaust, and not for pulling air through mesh.

Hi sorting out my first pc build and require some help, the mb i am getting (msi b850 edge ti) requires 2 x EPS / ATX 12V 8-pin and a 8 pin pcie and some but not all the 9070 xt require 3x 8 pin pcie. so on that basis i need 2x atx 8 pin and 4x 8 pin pcie and most psu dont have that many but the corsair rm1000x and the phanteks amp gh 1000w  are there any other psu's that have this many pcies and if not which is the best between the corsair rm1000x and the phanteks amp gh 1000w. thanks.

potential build:

9800x3d

9070 xt/ 5070 ti

msi b850 edge ti

64 gb ram

You should make a single post in New Builds
https://linustechtips.com/forum/18-new-builds-and-planning/
That way you can get a holistic build recommendation rather than asking about individual parts in individual forums

Doing my first pc build in the UK and need some help on my gpu, originally i was getting a 5070 ti but i got put off by the melting connectors and fire risk so i moved on to the 9070 xt, no i am thinking of getting a second hand gpu as a temporary option while i wait and see what to do and also as a backup gpu in the future, i can get the 1080 for about £105 and a 1060 for about £60, any other suggestions for a budget of about £50 to £125, my other question is if i get the 1080 am i likely to never upgrade so is it best to get the 1060 so i am forced to upgrade later, my last pc i bought 8 years ago and at the time gpu's were expensive or i thought so anyway so i bought a 1050 ti as part of the pc with the intention of upgrading when prices were better, well guess what gpu i am still using now(1050 ti) so i tend to like the easy option.thanks.

so cant you use the 1050ti?

if you get the 1060 you could use it for a server or smt but i think 1080 is cheap too. it was a beast back in the day.

I know it might not be secure, yeah vibecoding is cool but we shouldnt do smt unless we understand it and etc. thx but these disclaimers get old quick. maybe we shall be reminded frequently for we are stupid but i dont work at a nuclear powerplant.

Case fans :  thinking about moving the 3 case fans that come with the case to either the bottom or the top and buying 3x140 for the front and i need a decent 140mm for the rear, dont want to spend too much but would spend £15-£30 on the rear fan and maybe get a fan pack for the other places.
