i have a 7800x3d, 32 gb ddr5, b850 tomohawk msi mobo and 2 1 tb m.2s and i live in canada

This says its out of stock but this is a crazy deal on 1200W A+ rated unit that includes the cable you need.

1000W is plenty for that system and this A tier rated unit is around the same price as the above 1200W on sale.

So many options, just a matter of going down the list, then checking against this for known quality issues. Could be here for a while but not really sure how much you wanna spend.

whats the best psu for a 5090

There are many 'best PSU's' as there are many on the A-Tier list that meets the wattage criteria.

I was personally going to run a 5090 on my system with an overclocked 9800X3D with my RM1000X 2024 model.

As mentioned above, the AX1600i is a fantastic PSU but its not an option that makes much sense.

A solid 1200w PSU will be plenty fine.

A Seasonic GX/PX 1200w is a solid option.

Use the new PSU Tierlist to get an idea of PSU's.

Check the About and Tiering criteria if you want to learn more about it.

Doesn't work that way. There are many that will do the job very well, just depends on your requirements. I wouldn't settle for anything less than an A-tier 1000W (AMD CPU) or 1200W (Intel CPU).

We don't know where you live, what sort of size requirements you have, preferences for stock cable color or what retailers you have available. If you can provide information, we can help.
