well I can confirm, BF4 is no longer freezing / going to desktop on me now. . . Just played about 5 minutes and something would've happened by now with the old PSU

I've seen how much dust gathers on top of PSU potentially and that put me off fan facing up. . . that being said, it probably pulls in more dust facing down

These PSU's got great ratings in reviews from johny guru which imho is prob the best psu reviewer on the internet. 

 

superflower has made great quality parts for evga here and i think you made a good choice :P. 90+% efficiency at many loads

  I doubt the fan will ever spin at all. Don't worry about the dust

I got the official EVGA sleeved cables for $89 USD. Maybe it's cheating, but screw it, some things I just don't have time for...

 

I don't see grey on sale here. They have black, white, blue, and red. I gotta say though, the picture doesn't quite do it justice, the cables look pretty sexy.
