Budget (including currency): 5070ti budget, around 700 british pound as i see now on websites

Country: Uinited Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Battlefield 6

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Want to upgrade rtx 3080 to rtx 5070ti for Battlefield 6 game in 1440p to get enough fps for 165Hz monitor. Rest of pc is ryzen 7 5800x, motherboard TUF Gaming B550 pro, RAM 16gb. Motherboard is compatible, correct? Cpu is good enough for that gpu? Anything else i should be aware of?

What is your current psu including age, and keep in mind everything including games runs smoother with 32GB of RAM.

Keep in mind the price of DDR4 is skyrocketing since it was announced last month that DDR4 modules will no longer be manufactured. Either get the exact set of RAM you currently have for a total of 32GB or better yet grab a set of either 2x16GB DDR4-3200 CL16 or a set of 2x16GB DDR4-3600 CL18. With so many people moving over to DDR5 you can find decent deals on Facebook Marketplace and Ebay for example. But you do want 32GB seeing how it's become the standard.

Another option to consider is upgrading your platform for now and replace your 3080 later on.
