Can't run 3 displays on my 280x?

Tro

I have 3 displays that i would like to use, but when i try to connect the 3rd one i get an error: "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings"

I use 2 displays on DVI and 1 on HDMI.

Edit: I was able to use these exact displays on my old GTX 650 TI

I think you have to use at least one DP with AMD. It will require an active display port adapter for your card, but I think they changed it on the 290 and 290x.

To connect a third, I think you need to use the displayport.

Oh okay... Are there DP-VGA converters? One of my screens only has VGA.

Use DP... DVI isn't intended for 2 displays :P

I run two displays on DVI and one on HDMI with no problems but i am on Nvidia but that is not to say that it should/can't/will not work on AMD. Best case scenario, this can be a configuration issue worst case scenario, it could be a problem with your GPU's connectors.
