Yeah, in Harajuku, anything goes. The more wacky, the better they are....

 

But seriously, I can think of a few real life applications that this thing could actually work, provided the external speakers are any good. One thing is that they can use it in expos, or something like that, where sales promotion girls are walking around handing out flyers. They can wear these, playing promotional sound adv while walking around. The other one is just plain and simple, when your ears get hot wearing these as a headphone, just take it off, switch to external speaker, and keep on listening to musics

Good looking for a novelty/collector item, but unless you're a cute girl, wearing that in public would turn lots of head around, with not so pleasing stares.... :lol:

That's sound advice, they'll probably live on the wall as a collectible most days, I'm a fan of the artist who designed them, and the idea of  having a functional piece of art from them is blowing my mind.

But if I ever wear them outside, I live in Seattle, I think people will be distracted by the guitar playing roller skaters before any headphones.  ...Or maybe they'll start playing their guitar along with the music from my headphones!!

Well, if you're a fan of the artist, then it's good enough reason to get one. I thought you just stumbled upon that stuff and got curious, hence my post earlier. 

 

With that cat ears shape, it looks more like a headband than a headphone. That's why I thought if a guy is to wear that in public....well, there are some places where it's acceptable, though most places are the opposite

I got a pair of these, and I love them so much!  The speakers work, as do the LED lights, I haven't tried the microphone yet, and everyone at my school loves them!  And, no offense to Beats lovers, but I think these are better that Beats, with all they come with as well as the fact that they work, AND they cost less!  I'm the second person in my school to get a pair.  And yeah, they DO sound like something that would work in Japan, but I don't live in Japan, so...

You can find them at most Brookstones. My friend unfortunately got a pair instead of buying my NVX's from me. They are pretty much 90% looks 10% sound quality.
