Hello LTT Team & Members

  1. I am new to the forum, but have been watching LTT for a very long time. I have just brought a new (pre-built gaming PC), it's not super high tech, but to bring in game footage and be able to stream it, it works. But I do have some questions/ problems, hardware isn't my thing, so I thought I would ask you amazing people, so with that said, I would love some answers to the following, please:

1) The PC came with one DisplayPort and one HDMI (on the AMG graphics card), and I have a three-monitor setup. So, trying to work out if I could use the other HDMI/ Display ports that are on the motherboard? And if so, how would I go about getting them to work? The reason I know they don't work is that I tried plugging a display in via the HDMI port, and there was no display. Is there something I can do to "switch on", for lack of a better term, the motherboard?

2) The PC only came with three USB ports, one being 3.0. I have more than one USB device, so will I need to use a hub or again a little like the question above, can I somehow set the PC up to allow me to use the USB ports on the motherboard, at the back of the PC, because currently nothing attached to the motherboard is working, would be nice to able to those extra ports.

I will attach an image, displaying all the info I have on the PC. Hope this helps with knowing what machine I have. Before I thank you for you're time, I brought the PC with it only showing 3 USBs, so I know it's unlikely I'll be able ot use those extra USBs and DP's/HDMI ports, but worth trying? If it helps people, I'll be more than happy to share the ad for the PC itself, with the specs page to give you even more info.

Thank you again for your time & help, support and more

I think this will boil down to your motherboards ability to either utilize its integrated GPU along with your 3050 (dGPU) or not.

This guide suggests checking the bios however you can also google your motherboards model # with your particular inquiry.

How to use both Integrated and Dedicated Graphics on Windows

The rear USB ports should just work right off the bat tbh.

What's the motherboard ?

Never had to do some sort of special ritual to make those works even on my 11years old motherboard.

That's just your GPU Info.

Peoples probably gonna need (atleast) your CPU and Motherboard as well.

You can use CPU-Z to get that info.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post
