Hi guys.

I am not quite sure how to install this GPU holder for my Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme RTX 3080 while the card is installed in chasis.

Can someone explain me in detailed steps?

Should I move a bit the card upwards before trying to install this GPU holder?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

From the picture on the site I assume the “gray part” is what makes contact with the GPU and supports it to stop sagging.

It seems like you can loosen the screw on this part and lower it. Do this and lower it as much as possible, then begin with installing it. After installing it in the case, raise this gray part such that it correctly supports the GPU.

I recommend placing the case on a table on its back to make it a bit easier, this way you don’t have to push the sagging GPU with your finger during installation.

(For the ARGB part, you’ll need to plug in the header in a hub or ARGB motherboard header)

Aha okay. But how will I know that the card is perfectly 90° horizontal to "gray part"?

I mean how will I know when GPU holder installed that the card is perfectly horizontal and not saging anymore?

The holder should be firmly held by screwing it to the Pcie bracket of the case (left side of the pic), so will be at 90 degrees or nearly so

So first screw these 3 screws that will hold GPU holder in place, then move this "gray rectangular" part and adjust so the card sits perfectly horizontal, correct?

Yes to repeat myself in bullet points:

- Place computer on its back on a table.

- Unscrew screw on “gray part” and lower it.

- Screw GPU holder in with the 3 screws in the case.

- Move “gray part” back up against the GPU and tighten it, such that the GPU is horizontal when you eye-ball it.

Okay.

Should I use 3 screws that came with the holder or thumb screws from the chasis for PCI-E brackets which are bigger?

If it fits I would use the case thumb screws.
Imagine you ever change the GPU and no longer need/want the holder. I would find it annoying if I lost these case thumb screws and had a set of mismatched screws holding the brackets together. But that’s just me, so if it fits the choice is yours.

Yes you are right.I also think bigger thumb screws are better option, will try.
