Budget (including currency): £500

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Borderlands 2 , Call of duty, Forza horizon 4 and 5 , EAFC 26 and a couple other easy to run games.

I would like to play these games at around 120-144 hz at 1080p. I am stuck with multiple choices, many people are telling me to get a PS5, a gaming pc and also a gaming laptop.

Would it be worth even getting a PC for £500 if so could anyone make a decent build on PC part picker for me as im out of touch with the pc gaming world. Thanks ( I have forgot to mention I am very happy to use fully second hand parts )

If you are building a new system then something like this would work rather well.

Hello tysm for doing that , I believe that it would be better to get second hand parts , would that be true ?

At this price range you can definitely score good deals on used components if you are willing to look around.

I all that budget is just for the PC and internal components, then yes it can be quite alright enough to build PC.

Depending on used-deals it might even be sufficient.

in all fairness if you don't mind playing at 720p low 30 fps it's still a probably good card, i own an old r7 370 4GB (proudly oven reballed and revived from the dead) that can play nicely elden ring at 720p ULTRALOW about 30 fps, but it's a spare card, i would buy AT LEAST a 1070 or a 1080 if you want to play nicely at 1080p

i think you can find a used rx6700xt for a really low price probably and it's an amazing 1080p GPU
