does this happen to you too when you're watching youtube videos? I mean, not with all of them, only a few of them

umm... no. but this happens only to some videos. I can refresh the page how many times I want and it still looks the same "/

anyway, is there an option to reset everything to default?(in the amd catalyst program)

yes there is a Defaults button (if it is already at default the button will be gray ,if it isnt it will be black)

That is from the video itself. What it looks like is that the method used for encoding that video was interlaced where every other line of pixels update before the the other half, rather than progressive where they all update simultaneously.

That's not tearing.

That's called an "INTERLACED" video.

 

Like 1080i (i stands for interlaced)

The standard nowadays is progressive(non-interlacing), 1080p

 

 

The problem is that some youtube videos are,indeed, recorded in interlaced format.There's nothing you can do about those.That's how they are.

Happens to me sometimes on random videos, especially when switching to large player. I don't see it very often anymore though. But yeah like the others said it's video interlacing.

Could you link one of the videos? It's definitely an interlacing issue, but just to make sure it's the uploaders fault...
