Would it though? Be interesting with tariffs. Amazon is global company and by having warehouses all over the world, can somewhat go around what tariffs are doing. As in moving items from one warehouse to another, between regions and skipping inter-region moves which would not be cost effective. Plus deals usually are targeted to items which have been in warehouse the longest. So newest tech for example is very rarely on sale or if it is, price drops aren't massive.

To older stock too? I understand that they will affect to anything imported since March when tariffs were first announced. But technically wouldn't to anything imported before it. Unless store is doing some tricks, like adding extra cost to everything. Regardless of whether they have had added costs when importing or not since consumer will expect price hike anyway. Thats 25% more profit on older stuff which already sits in their warehouse.

yes and no. late stock would be affect to.

issue it being delay in transit. it had to be on shore in usa  to not get tariff.

but also some stock  that sitting in the warehouse  ,they're jack up in price to cover other stuff that was hit by tariffs .

it to cover large cost items that have almost no margins in them.

75 and up tv, stove etc.
