Good day, sirs/ma'ams

I am a first-time overclocker: very new to the trade. As a PC enthusiast, i finally saved enough money to build my dream PC last year with the following specs: -

motherboard: msi meg z790 godlike E-ATX
RAM: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 Ram 32GB (2x16GB) 7800MHz PC5-62400 CL38 A-DIE Desktop Memory Module Ram for 600 700 Series Chipset XMP 3.0 Ready White - FF4D532G7800HC38DDC01 and TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR5 Ram 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 7800MHz (PC5-62400) CL38 Desktop Memory Module Ram (White) for 600 & 700 Series Chipset - FF4D532G7800HC38DDC01

for a total of 64GB.

CPU: Intel I-9 13900K (Should have gone with AMD!)

PSU: 1300W

GPU: RTX 4090

However, my RAM, whilst rated for a max speed of 7800 MT/s or MHz, only runs at 4000 MHz. I checked to ensure that my motherboard supports the RAM speeds before purchasing it but i every time i turn on the XMP profile (the speed changes in the red box with arrow marks in the images provided), the PC gives me the blue screen of death upon rebooting: asking me to fix my PC. Only upon disabling the XMP does my PC run normally but it is painful seeing all that extra headroom being wasted.

I had the same problem even with 32GB RAM DIMMs and since i am new to overclocking: completely unfamiliar, i did not want to mess around in my BIOS too much and cause problems. That being said, I once did manage to tweak the voltages going to the RAM in their second and third decimal places but this did not help so i reverted them to their default values.

May i please have your help and guidance with overclocking my memory and getting the most out of my PC?

The official spec for 13th gen CPUs is 4400 with 2DPC, so that's probably why your board defaults to very slow speeds.

MSI's spec page says that the motherboard supports 6400 with 4x single rank sticks, which assuming your CPU can overclock that high, is perhaps the best target to be aiming for.

I would suggest that you start with 5200 and if it boots successfully, run stability tests and go from there.

Thank you for your guidance, sir/ma'am but that does not seem to be working. I am still trying to work around those values to see what best fits but I am having no luck so far.

These are all the changes i have made so far. I do beg all your pardon for my ignorance and inconvenience.

yeah you screwed your setup but atleast swapping the rams is easy and somewhat cheap (if you account for resale value)

swap rams for a 2x32 kit and id reccomend going to r/overclocking for assistence since it is an entire subreddit filled with overclockers, the discord might also be able to help but its mainly a mix of people rambling about ddr5 and ddr3
