Budget (including currency): 5000 zł (about 1400 usd)

Country: Poland

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: It would mainly be used for gaming in 1080p. I would like to run games like cyberpunk, new DOOM etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I think i'll play at 60hz maybe 144hz.

I have some components picked out on PC part picker

You are no where near the 1400 USD mark in this build so I would highly recommend to get a faster GPU.

The 4060 8GB is shit.

1000w PSU is also very overkill, a solid 750w would do for this system and a solid 850w will do unless you buy a 5090.

Any particular reason for going intel over AMD?

Not realy. I just googled PC to 1400usd and went from there. And 1400usd is absolute top limit. Any lower is good

You can easily swap that 1000W power supply for a 750W one and get a 9070XT while keeping the parts you selected, something like that:

The rest is pretty decent. Just keep in mind that you have a 14600K on a B760 motherboard, so you won't be able to overclock. Though nowadays OCing doesn't get that much extra performance nowadays
