I usually end up buying parts individually, slowly upgrading and changing things, or using older hardware, but recently due to a lack of any truly appealing cheaper options, I stumbled on this Microcenter bundle deal. Gotta say, quite pleased with it. Check them out if you have one nearby.

PBO is Precision Boost Overdrive. It's a simple overclocking feature for AMD CPUs. The basic PBO just removes power limits and lets the CPU draw as much power as it wants. You can also use it to give an up to 200MHz overclock, which is different from a traditional overclock in that it isn't fixed. Instead, it's +200MHz within the existing boost table. However, this feature is more limited on the 7800X3D than on other Ryzen 7000 series CPUs. AMD's stated reason for this is that the stacked V-Cache being on top of the CPU cores makes it too risky to allow for more overclocking options, because the cache won't transfer heat to the IHS fast enough and it would damage the CPU to let it be overclocked more.

 

Another feature of PBO is Curve Optimizer (CO) which is a form of voltage tweaking. It is mainly used for undervolting. You give the CPU a negative offset, and it reduces the amount of voltage the CPU calls for at a given boost level. This is different from a traditional undervolt in that it's not a flat offset, but instead an offset that scales depending on how much voltage is being called for. This is a good way to improve thermals and performance for X3D CPUs, because it lets them boost more consistently while staying within their power limit.

Wouldn't put a 14600K house warmer with a B760 board.  Especially a $120 B760. 

 

Though the price on the 14600K is fantastic.
