Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Streaming and recording

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hey guys I have a computer that I built 5 years ago that has a R5 3600XT now it's feeling kind of slow, and wanted to know if you guys think it is a good idea to upgrade to the new 9000 series R7 or should I just go with the 5700X/5800X. Also any recommendations for a GPU upgrade I currently have a 2060 that isn't pulling it's weight. I need something that has 5 output connectors mostly HDMI is important.

Thanks in advance

Budget and resolution along with the rest of your system specs RE motherboard, storage, case, cpu cooler, psu, etc ...

Consumer gpu's are artificially limited to 4 displays max no matter how many display outs they have. Dp port can easy convert to hdmi no sweat.

Now whats the budget and rest of your current specs? Psu make and model please

Depending on monitor content, one may be able use both GPU and iGPU outputs. Just make sure the motherboard includes video output ports.

Something like a 9600X should offer a significant performance bump.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
