Hey guys. I'm pretty new here.

This summer I'm going to build my own gaming computer. Since I only know the basics of how a computer works, I will need you guys to help me.

I'm going to use the computer for gaming and schoolwork, but if the computer can play games I bet it can be used to schoolwork aswell.

I do not need keyboard, mice, monitor, operating system, SSD (I need a harddrive or two though).

I want the cabinet to be the Corsair 900D super-tower. I also want two graphics cards and they need to be Nvidia, not Radeon.

I'm going to overclock my graphic cards a little bit and my processor alot, just so you guys know that if itplays any role in the selection of parts.

Is it possible to get a cooling system that looks like this: https://www.google.no/search?q=corsair+900d&espv=2&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=u8iOU-vTGZP04QTXiYCwBw&ved=0CCYQsAQ&biw=1920&bih=947#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=Y8J7JgKgM94omM%253A%3Bcp0ruL1UYUCEMM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fimg.hardware.no%252F1154%252F1154041%252Fobs1.956x538c.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.hardware.no%252Fartikler%252Fcorsair-obsidian-900d%252F132513%3B956%3B538

That'd be awesome if it is possible.

I've read something about RAM disks. Is that reqally worth it? Does RAM really play a big role in gaming? Isn't RAM just the update frequency?

The games I play are as following: BF3 and 4, Skyrim, Minecraft, LoL, CoD and Watch Dogs.

Budget:3700 beast mothertittyfucking dollars :D

Thank you guys!

So you want it water cooled and with an OG setup. Nice budget. You won't need all those parts for gaming and schoolwork. I'd save money on the parts and put the savings towards a sweet custom loop. 1 high end GPU like the 780 or 780 ti (not sure when the 6GB versions will be here), 8 or 16GB of RAM, an i7 4770K or the  4790K (if there's enough reliable info and shit on it by then) and a sweet looking Z97 MoBo like the Asus Maximus VII Hero (IMO).

Well I really do want two high end graphic cards, and I'd preferred them to be 780 Ti. I also want at least 16 gb RAM, but thanks for the advices! (Y)

Cool man. It's your build and it should be how you want it to be. I'm just offering my two cents. Thinking of doing two EVGA GTX 780 6GB SC's myself.

RAM speed dont matter much for gaming unless you are using on APU systems

RAMDisk is pointless since game files are super huge over 30GB+ and you can only have like 32GB max system RAM and anything higher than 16GB will drive up the total cost

you will have at least 1K to buy the extra parts like the close loop watercooling unit like EK waterblocks and SwiftTech parts

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

There, you have around 1000$ for the full water cooler loop. A few note though:

- Wait for the new i7 4790k, it should already be out by now but PcPartPicker dont have it yet so I cant picked it. The mobo I choose can support it so you dont need to change the mobo

- For GPU, I choose the reference cooler one because it's easier (sort of) to unmount the reference cooler to stick a water block and do water cooler on them compare to the custom cooler. If you are not concern by this or having someone good to build it for you, you can goes for this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-gtx780tigaming since it's cheaper.

- Also on the GPU side, the cost of a full custom water cooler loop may varied, but if it's about 500$, then go ahead and throw these 2 780 TI away and grab 2 Titan Black instead.

- No CPU Cooler because you are going to have a full water cooler loop anyway

- The 900D is HUGE, and even with full water cooler loop on a 4 ways SLI system some build still look kinda empty, but if you like it then... up to you.
