as of now i use a AMD Ryzen 5 5600G /w integrated graphics (radeon). and I barely can keep a stable fps on fc 25 on the lowest graphics possible. on games like ravenfield, it uses alot of memory. and ive heard stories from my friend whos pc short circuited due to integrated graphics. im not the smartest in this topic so please help me. ive been searching for gpus that are compatible with my current pc build since I just want to upgrade my gpu to most likely a 4060. since where I live indonesia, and for my build (acc to my friend) says that I should get this since its the safest option.

your pc won't blow up cause you are stressing it don't worry.

But if you want to upgrade sure you can chuch an external gpu and be happy with it. It is about your demans and your supply. Can you afford a new gpu ?
Do you want higher fps ?

how its goin mate ? hope my post helps. Maybe drop a like or follow ? >w<

no ? i guessed that 😄

If you want more graphical power, definitely upgrade to a decent dedicated GPU like a RTX 4060 or AMD equivalent.

Bit unsure what your friend means by safest option.

What is your power supply?

If your PSU is enough wattage, yes, a 4060 would be good if 8GB of VRAM is enough for you. Integrated graphics will not short circuit your PC. I have the same CPU and everything is OK.

AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600g w/ Radeon Graphics | 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM | 256GB NVME SSD + 2TB HDD | Amazon Basics 2.0 Speakers

by safest option, from what he means as in the budget and the size of the gpu to be able to fit inside my pc case if i am correct.
