Hi, I have a question. My computer doesn't have a graphics card right now because I'm saving up to buy one. I have a Ryzen 5 7600X and I'm really looking forward to playing Valorant, but I'm a little worried about overloading or damaging the CPU. I currently have 16GB of RAM at 6000MHz. I used to have 32GB (16x2), but I lent a module to my brother because he ran out of RAM. I'm going to lend it to him for a few months. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

PS: I don’t expect to play at very high FPS; I’m fine with 70–80 FPS.

Not gonna happen. There are enough safeties in place that in order to do this you need to be actively trying to, not just running a game.

It'll run like crap on that CPU though, I wouldn't be surprised if you were in the sub-30 FPS range. Valorant might be an easy game to run, but the iGPU on the 7600X is extreemly terrible, and the fact you're running single channel memory is doing you no favors. Keep your expectations very low for it, 70-80 is out of the question.

consider buying even a crappy GPU that could help you play the game, here you can see the minimum and reccomended for each tier of gaming, usually an r7 370 4gb here in italy costs about 50€ (which should be about 55/56$ US) it's super cheap and tbh i can play elden ring at 720p 30fps on my msi r7 370 4gb OC so it's a great card for the price it has, check on facebook marketplace and you might find a great deal. it's by no means a  perfect card but it's a great value for the price and for your needs

You would be surprised how well the iGPU on the 7600x actually does in Valorant.

At 1080p Low settings its actually pushing 150-250 FPS in Valorant.

The single DDR5 might affect performance a bit though.

You can't overload a CPU as long as you don't overclock it. Modern CPUs are meant to run at full load for long amounts of time. But I do doubt you'll get even 70FPS on the iGPU in the 7600X
