Weird Task Bar Search Issue, please help!

Just got a new PC, everything has been fine with it. I hadn't installed any new updates or drivers (though they are up to date, I just hadn't installed anything immediately prior to this issue) but now my windows search function on the task bar is acting weird. It's displaying like this. There are no other strange appearances elsewhere on windows, nothing strange in games, it's just this. I've already rebuilt the explorer, I've restarted explorer.exe in task manager. I've uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. Not sure what else to do here.

Did you import the theme from a previous build?

No, reinstalled as new

I've seen weird stuff like that happen when fonts are missing.

 

Can you try making a new local user profile?
