Hey guys!

I already have a home server (R5 3600, 16GB RAM, 16TB of storage) that I built mainly for Jellyfin. Now I'm looking for a solution to replace Google Drive/Photos for backing up data from my phone and my family members' phones, since I don't want to keep paying for it when I’ve got terabytes of storage at home already.

I don’t mind paying once for good software, but I want to avoid any subscriptions. I’m running Windows (I know, boo) on my server and would prefer not to change that, so it would be nice if it could run without virtualization.

I’m already using NordVPN’s Meshnet for Jellyfin and it works flawlessly, so syncing from anywhere shouldn’t be an issue.

Do you guys have any good recommendations?

What's the required storage? I won't trust any cloud services to store private photos or documents, not only about privacy concerns but also possible loss of service at any moment

So couldn't you use physical backup storage rather?

I want to self host it, there is no required storage, since I currently got 4 TBs of free space and can drop in a new drive anytime if I need.
