Last week the left ALT on my G710+ broke. Apparently this is an known issue with the G710+.

The store doesn't have any of them in stock, so they will give me a refund. I do however have trouble finding a alternative for the G710+, the only real option in can find (which is in stock) is the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth 2014. Now, I've read a lot about this keyboard, are the switches really bad/worse than Cherry?

I'm also interested in Corsair's RGB keyboards, but as far as I can find these will only come with Cherry Red switches? I really like the Cherry Brown's so I would like to stick with those (or the Razer Orange switches which should be similar)

Any thoughts or any other keyboard recommendations?

Thanks!

Wait for the Corsair RGB K70 and K95 announced at Computex! They look gorgeous. And no they aren't only MX-Red's... Watch the new Newegg video about paul talking to Corsair @ Computex. They come in Brown, Red and Blue. All 3 variations in both.

I'm getting a K70 the day it's released.

Looks like my BlackWidow finally has some competition brewing its way.

I would go with something from Ducky, Filco, Das, or Cooler Master for a replacement. Also the RGB Corsair keyboard will come in Cherry Red, Blue, and Brown.

I would personally go with something like a Filco Majestic Touch if you don't mind not having a back light. Otherwise, I would buy a Shine III.

Gigabyte Aivia Osmium?

I recently asked for keyboard recommendations with certain limitations here. The recommended keyboards were these:

Logitech G710+ - 5 votes
Gigabyte Aivia Osmium - 1 vote
Razer Blackwidow 2013 Stealth - 1 vote

Thank you for posting the thing about the issue with the key caps breaking. I didn't know that. I guess I'll have to find a new set of key caps if I ever want to buy the G710+.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I wasn't aware that the K70 RGB would also come with brown switches, I think I'm going to wait a little longer to get this keyboard!

Ducky, Filco and Das seem like very good keyboards, but they are very expensive here. Importing is an option, but is always a risk if it breaks.
