I am intrigued by Latin since it is basically the Debian of human language. One of my friends is taking a Latin class in college and I was wondering what a native (classical or vulgar latin) speaker's accent would sound like when speaking english. The whole idea is what ancient foreign accents would be like today. She thinks latin speakers would have bizarre mideval accents when speaking modern english.

Any input is appreciated! Especially audio clips.

You're in luck, there's this video of a presumably American guy pretending to be a Roman legionary and then speaking English with a Latin accent.
