I run Ubuntu 25.04. I have the following specs: Intel Core i5-13600K, Intel Arc B580, 32GB DDR5 (6200 MHz OC from 5600, which is maybe a bit unstable, should probably lower that 😅), Intel onboard graphics are disabled.

I am using the latest version of Kdenlive, and the program won't begin transcoding my video files using the VAAPI Intel setting. It exits with an error every time. GPU works great in games and shows up normally with the latest Intel drivers installed. For a sanity check, I put my old GTX 1650 back in and installed the drivers, and it worked just fine, although obviously it uses the NVIDIA mode for transcoding. Wondering if anyone with ffmpeg experience could tell me how a custom command would work to get this functionality fully up and running. As a side note, I used ffmpeg by itself in the terminal to see if QSV/VAAPI are supported and it showed everything working normally. Any advice or help is appreciated!
