Hello!

I've misplaced my Nintendo Switch Dock during my move , I have an OG Switch that was purchased the month the Switch came out.

TLDR: I need to find a new one - what are some good alternatives?  Compatibility and Reliability is my concern.  Is it best to just get an OEM dock or are there better options out there?

Thanks!

If you want a cheap but reliable replacement and don't care what your setup looks like, get a UGREEN Revodok 105. $10 on Amazon right now. I have one and can confirm, it works with the Switch:

If you want an actual dock, just hop on Amazon and look through what's available. Just read the reviews thoroughly and make sure it's not gonna brick your system. OE would be best in my opinion but they can be expensive. Maybe grab a used one on eBay. You can use either the original or OLED dock.

I can confirm also, I have the same Ugreen dock that I use when traveling. Great and cheap little thing. I use it with my switch and my tablet when I want to hook it up to hotel TV's.

some of the other switch docks have wired corkers... but they have other things built in which dont work...

i got this 4 card slot switcher with remote and it gets power from the dock but the switch things the switch is a device that its charging and pulls it out of sleep mode...

fix was you power it from the wall not the switch...

another dock had other problems cant member what they were was not working with an automatic hdmi switcher i have...

i be leave the oem dock can scratch the screen. but people like it i guess because its oem maybe? 🤷‍♂️
