Since I was unable to find this answer online I thought I would head over here to ask it. Basically I want to know why it is that if the compressor on my window ac comes on and I turn the temp down then back up why it won't come back on and trips the breaker. I really don't need to know and I don't have an issue with my ac I just want to know why this happens. It sounds like it struggles to come on if I switch it off to fast and the fan slows down to do I assume it's pulling to much current when I turn the compressor on and of to fast and I'm just looking for someone why knows why.

seems like your electrical system cant handle a lot of power

used to happen to my house before the upgrade

Happens with my ac downstairs too and it's on its own dedicated breaker it's happens to almost all ac units and I'm just looking for a reason why.

your electrical system simply cant handle the load

you need to upgrade it

my uncles breaker caught fire last year because of this

good thing the house was made of concrete nothing else except the electrical system melted

Yep, the socket breaker trips which means, the A/C draws more amps which can load the terminal boards and trips any safety breakers. You need to upgrade the breaker... Don't put the largest too cause if fire "God forbids" starts, it won't trip.

Just a note, we usually calculate amps drawn out of sockets from the TB, and  keep just a notch above the system normal load for future expansion or something.
