Gaming PC constantly closing multiple different software

Fair warning: I have an above surface level knowledge on technology so bare with me.
My dad got me a pre-built PC for around Christmas of 2023 and we put in an RTX 4060 because it was running slower than my previous PC and it was working fine for ages but around mid 2024 it's started to blue screen fairly frequently and been crashing programs constantly, there are some games (binding of isaac, sekiro) that I can't even play because they run for about 5 minutes before crashing, despite this, it can still run games that require higher specs fairly smoothly, e.g. marvel rivals, tekken 8. I've fully reset my PC once and not much changed, it's gone back to blue screening and crashing much more than it probably should so I think it might be something to do with my hardware whether that be faulty component or compatibility issue and at this point I'm kind of hoping it is so I can fix it for good.

I'm on a desktop

Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900KF

I'm using a GeForce RTX 4060

32GB Installed RAM

RM750x PSU

Prime b760-plus d4

OS - Windows 11
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Fairly certain original OS was windows 11

OS came pre-installed on the PC when I got it

ASUS and my bios version is 1805IMG_20250502_210652.thumb.jpg.54bec207ed1745aaccf0738266a5fa3d.jpg

According to motherboard manual when running a single stick of ram it should be placed in slot A2. On your board it's placed in B1. Page 1-11:

Apart from that after fixing above (make sure PSU is in off position and PC is laying down). Download and install ME firmware update:

Quite possibly CPU degradation that occured on 13th and 14th gen i7 and i9 (mostly i9)

You could try an RMA, Intel had millions of them 😮

What is an RMA?

Return to seller, or Intel, for a replacement, due to failure

IIRC, the massive degradation issue made Intel accept replacements on all chips regardless of original warranty duration

Alright, should I try the first answer first? or just try return now

Well it costs nothing to first try a BIOS update so your chip will stop self destructing, but imo at the point you're at it's already done for

You might want to test before coming to conclusions
