Corsair 760T [question]

Haywalker

well i have a simple question for anyone that has a Corsair 760T or is educated on the topic.

How bad does the acrylic on the side panel's scratch, i mean i know that acrylic windows tend to get scratched all the time but let's say i keep the case well maintained and away from any object that might cause it to scratch..

and i would like to know if any one has attempted a water cooled build in there and how roomy is it ?

I have an h440 which also has an acrylic window.  I cleaned dust off of it the other day with a dish cloth and noticed a whole ton of scratches as a result.  Acrylic is not a dense plastic, so it will scratch easily. It's just something you have to deal with.  If it really bothers you, you can get some sort of mild polish from your household supplies store (even toothpaste works).  Or, you could save up and get a custom glass door made, but that might be quite the chore for the 760T.

The acrylic window on my 800D is perfect, no scratches. I always clean it with a moist microfibre cloth (the kind for screens or glasses) and there are 0 scratches so far. I take good care of it :)

If you are careful, you will not have any issues. Just make sure that there are no grains/particles in the cloth you clean it with @IrshaadH :P because that will scratch it for sure.

One thing I kinda don't like about acrylic is how all the dust is electrostatically attracted and sticks to it. It's not a big deal though, and the only fix is to change to a glass panel.

I have owned my 760T for about a month now, and have a 9 month old that loves to crawl over to the window panel and try to mess with it.. so far, zero scratches.

i don't even think the hinges can support the weight of a glass door, but it will look cool thought :P
