I appreciate the openness. Even if it doesn't impact the company's decisions, you have my respect for the engagement with the community.

However, I still believe a healthy dose of acknowledging "The road to hell is paved with good intention" is worth considering.

There is always the risk of sending a significant amount of gullible people into the trappings of a company. Company models are also fluid so your promo messaging in videos could be up long after something drastically changes and lives are negatively impacted. The weight of the risks is anyone's guess (hence this entire section is just speculation for the sake of starting discussion). I personally prefer to not AI my life up anymore than absolutely necessary.

There is always the chance that I am the outlier, not the norm, but the frequency of promotions for this AI tool would have no impact on me. I wouldn't even sign up for a free trial if it cured all my ailments, kept my house clean, and my car repaired. Also, my opinion of LMG wouldn't really change regardless of this decision.

That said, I still believe PLAUD.AI doesn't bring anything to the table of worth. From my perspective, it would just come across as a money grab for LMG. Maybe I am just not he target audience. (outlier theory again)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

My questions for @Sveeno:

What is it about PLAUD.AI that sets it apart from their competition? What caught your eye?

Why is LMG considering working with PLAUD.AI? To what extent do you currently see your engagement with this company?

What aspects of having that relationship with PLAUD.AI would be mutually beneficial for the audience and LMG?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Conclusion:

On one hand, get that bag. Probably worse places/people the money could go.

On the other hand, encouraging people towards data hungry companies is not something I agree with on a personal level and inherently comes with what I think could be reasonably classified as "Bee Syrup" risks.

So if you in good faith believe there has been sufficient internal analysis, I would "trust you bro" for this one.

Dreaming of the day when my brain cell doesn't betray me.

Hey @CasualExtremist thanks for the detailed response. Greally appreciate it!

We've gone through a lengthy internal analysis on PLAUD.AI and feel there is merit in promoting a tool like this. What that will look like is still up in the air, but we value your response nonetheless.

Thanks again,
