Hello everyone, I need help with building a new computer for myself, never done it before and honestly i'm quite scared to lmao

My budget is around 2000 USD or 7500 ILS

I live in israel and importing part and ordering parts is quite a headache

Games I plan on playing are - Marvel rivals, MH wilds, Black desert, and eventually the witcher 4 and GTA 6

Right now I have two monitors that run games at 1080p, for now it's totally fine for me but I would love to run games at 90+fps on 2k resolution when I get the right monitors

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hey, welcome to the Forum! 🙂  Building your first system can seem quite scary indeed but its easier than you think.

Just watch some guides on Youtube.

Thats a healthy budget for a system!  Can definitely build something solid here.

I'm a bit busy right now but maybe @PDifolco@Why_Me@podkall can put a list together.

I have helped at least 60 people from LTT Forum over Discord while they built their systems, many of them were complete beginners.

If it was just quicker chatting assistance or a 4+ hour voice call, I have done it all 🙂

If you want, I can be available ( for free of course ) when you build your system so you can get quick assistance if needed.

No local e-shops? Or just bad prices overall regardless if imported or not?

that's not hard to do with your budget hopefully.

How much does Ryzen 7600/7600x CPU, B650 chipset motherboard and 2x16GB of DDR5 6000Mhz RAM cost?

GPUs

How much for RX 9070 XT, 7800 XT, 7900 XT or RTX 5070 Ti?

A PC like this could work:

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/MhvKdb

Though prices may differ, if there's room to get similar PC like this that's nice. If you can get even more, you could swap some parts for better ones.

For example 8 core 7000/9000 series Ryzen CPU instead of 6 core.

RAM with tighter timings. Slightly better motherboard.

Better NVME storage.

Feel free: To ask any question, no matter what question it is, I will try to answer. I know a lot about PCs but not everything.

current PC:

Ryzen 5 5600 |16GB DDR4 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1080 ti [further details on my profile]

PC configs I used before:

  1. Pentium G4500 | 4GB/8GB DDR4 2133Mhz | H110 | GTX 1050
  2. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz / OC:4Ghz | 8GB DDR4 2133Mhz / 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1050
  3. Ryzen 3 1200 3,5Ghz | 16GB 3200Mhz | B450 | GTX 1080 ti

The prices are still really bad overall I would say, and with shipping fees it gets even worse

The rtx 5070 ti, rx 9070 both go for around 1100 usd

Cheapest B650 motherboard I found was around 150 usd, same goes for the ram aswell

Ryzen 7 9700x 8 cores is 400 usd

All of these parts combined are 1800 usd and im not sure if the other components can come around 200 usd or if what I conjured even fits lol

That's quite an amount, more than half entire budget on GPU.

What about last-gen cards? 7900 XT?

It's pretty decent selection, but it's still missing a lot.

You need:

  • CPU
  • CPU cooler
  • Motherboard
  • RAM
  • Storage drive
  • GPU
  • Case
  • PSU

Or if you found some, for cases there's also brands like Cooler Master, Deepcool and Antec.

Deepcool makes CPU coolers too, same with ID-COOLING.

RAM brand doesn't really matter as much as speed.

The ryzen 7 7700x is the cheapest if I got the 8 cores right, 290 usd

The motherboard model is B650M-S2H

The 7900 XT is around 965 USD which really isnt much cheaper

I do have a newer PSU I bought last year, I think it's a coolermaster 750 watt not quite sure, I got along with an SSD of 1 tera

Find something else, give me 10 examples even if it's not too much work on your side.

You save 100+ $ and lose 1-4% of performance on average.

You can check what model is it when you have time.

doesn't tell much, but if you copy the model (B650M-S2H) that works
