New PC developed new issue?

Go to solution Solved by saladstud3,

Update: I am an idiot. I didn't know this motherboard had 3 m.2 slots. my main one was plugged into the third. It works now after it's in my 1st slot and that's all that matters. Apologies for taking anyone's time. Thank you and have a great day/night

So I recently built a new pc and I am only a week in and a new issue has arisen, basically I put my pc into sleep mode whenever I am away for long amounts of time and yesterday I cam back to my pc. Turned it on and my motherboard boot thing loaded but when it gets to my windows lock screen it's just black with my cursor just loading. It's not my displays as well, I am on my pc now. I did this by doing an automatic repair and fixing the startup process. But when I came back overnight it did the same thing which led to me having to do the same thing. Listed are the things I've done and my specs.

Reinstalled all my Nvidia drivers both through the Nvidia app and Nvidia's site also.

Did a quick windows reinstall.

Updated my BIOS and updated windows.

ASUS ROG Strix B650E-F

AMD Ryzen 7 7700X

G.SKILL Flare X5 Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 RAM 64GB (2x32GB) 5200MT/s

CORSAIR RM850e

RTX 3070

SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus SSD 4TB (Boot drive) and a SAMSUNG 980 M.2 2280 1TB

What motherboard slot is the boot drive in? Check event viewer and see what is says.

Looks like a Windows issue with wake from sleep, not unusual

I don't use it, and just shut it downs on evenings, ok that's 30 sec to boot again but not a big deal

Or just reinstall WIndows

A ton of errors and warnings in this, my boot drive is in my 2nd slot, should I switch it to the first slot. Will this screw anything up if I do? Like will I have to reinstall windows or will it just work.
