With the return of Verdansk I decided to hop on Warzone after almost a 3 year break.
Some time ago now I got myself a new PC, so I thought everything should be fine performance wise.

But I've been getting freezes/lags during the game.

Here is a recording of the issue:

Appearently this has something to do with the CPU.
Every time the freeze happens, the CPU time spikes up to ~40ms.

I got HWMonitor to check the temps, and when the freeze happens, the temps actually drop to 30 C for less then a second (or for however long the freeze happens), and the CPU performance drops close to 0%. The temps don't go over 80.C during the game.

I have tried switching the CPU thread count to 5, 6, 8, I turned XMP on, turned on/off resizable bar, updating drivers, changing graphics settings and so on, but nothing works.

If you've had this problem and managed to fix it or know what may be causing the problem, I'd really appreciate the help. Many Thanks!

My PC specs:

|Processor|11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700KF @ 3.60GHz| |Video Card|NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070| |Operating System|Windows 10| |RAM|32 GB|

Might be worth making sure that you have the downloadable asset/streaming thing limited to as low as possible. In base Black Ops 6 at launch, I had a severe stutter in a lot of multiplayer matches until I turned down that setting. From memory, Warzone has the same thing however I have not checked for it myself in a while.

I'll have a look when I'm back.
