Is this bundle a good deal ?  (Canadian dollars)

My current system is :
Ryzen 5 5600
32 DDR4 3200 ram (8X4)
Asus ROG B550-f gaming wifi ii
RTX 3070
850 watt psu from EVGA

I was having intermittent issues with my system not turning on after a shutdown or not waking up from sleep, but now it doesnt turn on at all.

When the issue was intermittent and i could boot, i tried various things to fix  the issue like

  • changing ram config
  • re-seating cpu
  • new bios
  • new cmos battery
  • clear cmos
  • fresh windows install
  • boot without GPU+ a different older GPU
  • new PSU
  • no issues with power button itself

Now i have given up and i think something is wrong with CPU/mobo, So i was thinking of getting that bundle, is that a good price? and i can also test my old motherboard and cpu with new parts and sell the working parts to subsidize the purchase.  (old cpu+ram ~ 150 CAD / old mobo+ram ~150 CAD). so i will only be speding about 200 CAD

I was planning on upgrading my GPU soon, but will have to wait another year due to this.

any thoughts on the plan and any other alternatives are welcome

Thanks

I just finished refurnishing my computer with the same CPU (Ryzen 7 5800XT) and a new GPU ( Asus RTX 370).  I replaced the CPU cooler with a larger one. didn't replace the mother board or memory as they are working just fine.

The price looks good (Canadian).  It isn't from Temu I hope, as they might not be real, but who knows. I would go ahead and buy it. if its from a reputable dealer you have dealt with before.

The bundle is alright sucks you're not getting the much better 5700x3d but the 5800xt is still a good cpu none the less.

The board is just a bad board tho so that does lower the value of the bundle quite a bit. It has poor vrms and may even struggle to run the 5800xt at full power.

It is fine for a 5600 tho so if your own board is fine you can mix and match the systems.

I don't think it's a good deal at all.

Better RAM

Different motherboard

Would it be worth upgrading to a new AM5 system, considering i don't plan on upgrading my GPU soon from 3070

There is another bundle for 599 CAD

Ryzen™ 5 7600X Processor Bundle w/ Gigabyte B650 EAGLE AX Motherboard, Kingston FURY Beast 32GB DDR5 6000MHz Dual Channel Kit

It's 230 CAD more than one mentioned in the original post.

BTW my system did boot randomly after being off overnight, but i don't trust it at all.
