Was wondering if anybody could help me whit this

 

I am currently running a windows server 2012 as a backup server and media server i currently have around 6tb of data on it.

Does anybody know of somekind of backup program that will allow me spread clomplete backup of the server on to multiple HHDs.

I am probobly gona buy two 4tb drives to do this.

why don't you get a NAS? imo it's kinda silly to have backups stored on the same machine since if there is a disaster most likely all the hdd's will be destroyed / corrupted

WHS 2012 has this feature built in, to allow backing up to external devices

 

or you could run internal raid for drive redundancy, I chose to run in raid 10 on my server running daily backups and this weekly backs up to NAS I keep under the stairs, which in turn backs up to my unlimited cloud once a month

@Natursvin SyncBack allows you to setup schedules with different destinations. So you could replicate some data to one drive and different data to another drive.

 

It's not indiscriminate though, you have to actually specify what folders go to which drives. But it'll take care of the backup part once you get it set up.

 

They have a free version (SyncBackFree) that I use, it's pretty good. It gives you a nice HTML report of a scheduled run.
