Yes i have tried to repair it. and im currently running on asus Rampage IV Extreme, i7-3820 and a 7970. It does talk about .xml if scroll down a little bit. And the problem whit compatibility mode and trying to run it as admin is that if i change anything the game wont even try to launch.

Hi, i just bought blood dragon and cant get i to start i followed the instructions in this thread http://steamcommunity.com/app/233270/discussions/0/810925579982778267/ but my problem is that the .xml file that is supposed to be in the blood dragon folder is not there. any suggestions? Did not know that everywhere else i have read it says the raid-10 arrays cant be expanded.

But does not raid 1 whit 4 drives just make all 4 drives identical?

Hey, i am currently trying to create a new raid array i have 4x3tb drives i want do something like having 2 and 2 drives mirrored so that i end up whit 6tb usable space. I dont want to do a raid-10 array since i want too have the ability to expand my array. i currently have a LSI MEGARAID SAS 9240-8I any suggestions? Thanks for the help

But can you still read from a raid-5 array if you are missing a drive?

The hard drives are seagate barracudas 3tb. The amount stored was alittle over 5tb, the original ones are under 6 months old and the one i tried to add was over 2 years old.

Hey, i currently have raid 5 array consisting of 3 harddrives and then i was gonna add a nother one whit the OCE function. But while the array was beeing rebuilt whit the new harddrive the harddrive failed. Then the LSI-raid card rebuilt the array again whit the original 3 drives. As far as i can see i havent lost any data but now the MegaRAID managers say the the array is degraded but it does not state which drive or any other information as far as is can see. Any thoughts?

Yeah that is an option but reason im asking know is because i found some 4tb seagate external drives on 35% sale and i want to spend as little money as possible.

Was wondering if anybody could help me whit this I am currently running a windows server 2012 as a backup server and media server i currently have around 6tb of data on it. Does anybody know of somekind of backup program that will allow me spread clomplete backup of the server on to multiple HHDs. I am probobly gona buy two 4tb drives to do this.

I recently bought a lsi 9240-8i megaraid card and when i made first raid5 array i choose the write policy "write through" but i later found out that this slows down write speed . The problem is that when i go into the properites of the virtual drive and go to write policy there is not an option to change it to "write back" does anybody have any tips on this?
