Ok my brother has 20mbps uverse dsl at his house and my house is about 600ft behind him and at&t are telling me they can't run dsl up there so I want to run my brothers dsl up to my house. I know there's several ways to do it, but what's the best way to run home dsl about 600ft to another house?

Shielded, outdoor grade Ethernet in a PVC conduit with a solar powered repeater in the middle. 

 

You could also look at the Ubiquity wireless stuff. Im sure one of their high output access points with directional antennas would cover 600ft assumign you can get them high enough off the floor, and there are no objects blocking your line of sight.

My dad would probably know. He did this a while back when wifi was just becoming a thing and was working on some crazy projects. He built a custom antenna and used some insane setup to connect to a wifi a few floors up in our apartment building at the time to access the fast internet that we were sharing with a neighbor at that time (4Mbit/s i believe back then that was insane since it was basically just the end of dial up).
