Gigabyte GCC Error

Go to solution Solved by NotGomenasaii,

Found a way to fix it and it was way too simple...

Simply went into C:\Program Files\GIGABYTE\Control Center\Lib and used the uninstall exe that was laying around in that folder. Using that instead of simply deleting the folder or using windows uninstall function actually made it work :').

Anyways, thanks for trying to help out @Blasty Blosty

First time for me to open a topic in a forum.

System looks as following: GPU: 3060 Ti
CPU: I5-13400F
CPU Cooler: Be Quiet! DARK ROCK 4
Motherboard: GIGABYTE B760 GAMING X DDR4
RAM: 32GB Kingston Fury (3600Mhz)

GCC has been working fine for me in the past, recently I updated my PC from Windows 10 to Windows 11, which hasn't been done with a clean install but instead used the normal Windows Update/Upgrade option.
Since then I am unable to open up GCC, I already tried reinstalling it, as well as the usual troubleshoot procedure that includes compatability modes etc. but everything without success.

Event Viewer always provides the following two errors:

Before going back to a clean install, maybe someone knows how to help out.
Thank you in advance!

Try toggling dynamic lighting in windows settings, I see that in the error message

Never knew this setting existed but while looking for it I found this: image.png.5ec71f4c1e9dea3cb21a336891a0dfb0.png

I uninstalled it, GCC launched again for a second, immediately reinstalled Gigabyte Dynamic Light and is now as dead as before.
So the question now is, can I somehow keep it from automatically installing Gigabyte Dynamic Light?

Unless it is part of the setup, I doubt it

Does that replace the normal dynamic light in settings?

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");

The normal Windows dynamic light is still there and was originally turned on, I turned it off and tried again, without luck, maybe I can remove the Gigabyte Dynamic Light files from my System and then try to start it without a connection to the internet, if Dynamic Light even is standalone in the first place.

What do you need from this software?

For RGB you can use something like SignalRGB

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");

I dont need that one but it automatically installs with the launch of GCC. I need the GCC functionality in itself though. Couldn't care less about Gigabyte Dynamic Lighting
