Hi, every single day i boot my PC i get this error, i've tried looking it up but to no avail, it started randomly about a month ago and i can't figure out what's causing it, there's no program called Highlights i can un/reinstall and i've tried just deleting the C path completely but it wont let me, i tried disabling "Highlights" from the gpedit.msc but that didnt help.

any tech gods here know whats wrong and how to fix it, it's getting on my nerves.

Some directory error when an app looks for files in some place. Seems like an app error using JS. Have you got any startup apps? If so, trying disabling one after each restart. If suddenly error doesn't appear on boot, last disabled app is to blame.

i'm assuming that it's this program that causes it, but i can't uninstall it, it's not in the directory to uninstall

Naming matches up. See if you can uninstall it via the windows settings screen not just folder itself where they have the uninstaller. Files have to be somewhere to get it to launch.

Under task manager you can right click the "Highlight" app and click "Go to location." Will open up the exe that's running it. Don't forget to then close the app as you delete the folder/s associated with it.

If you're still out of luck finding remaining files, you can download something like everything to search any matching names.
