I'm looking to upgrade my PC from AM4 to AM5 and I'm not quite sure what kind of memory to use (I have not yet chosen a CPU or Motherboard).

I was looking at a few different manufacturers but I don't really know what to look at when choosing new memory so I wanted to ask if anybody has suggestions for relatively cheap (100€+-) Ddr5 memory or if there is like a ranking sheet for them.

Thx in advance

For AM5,  DDR5 6000Mhz CL30 is the sweetspot 🙂

I have had great success with G.Skill and Kingston Fury Beast.  Both EXPO rated of course.

Personally use Fury Beast 6000Mhz CL30.

Teamgroup aint too bad either

The t-create kit especially is generally great value, has the desired timings and is rated for for amd and expo

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

cheapest 6000c30/32 you can get your hands on and thatll do fine

theyre all the same 9000+ capable hynix a die and the only real difference is the heatspreader so if you are spending extra you are really only buying a different heatspreader which is fine if you prefer certain aesthetics like those tridentz5 or something like that

for the cl just make sure its cl34 or lower, only reason for doing so is to guarantee hynix as the timing itself is quite useless for performance, the better stock performance is via tighter auto subtimings by the board as hynixes are far superior to current samsung/micron offerings

though mobo auto subtimings still suck so heres some easy to follow subtimings thatll get you some extra performance with minimal effort

full specs of your existing parts?

budget?

usecases?

country?

if you just game you might be better off just dropping in a 5700x3d which are 150$ off aliexpress
