Elder Scrolls Online classes...

Who else has trouble picking a class in ESO? I primarily play melee. Ranger in Everquest, Hunter in WoW, Disciple in Vanguard, etc etc etc.

I find it extremely disconcerting that all melee classes use skills that disregard and outright change the weapons they carry. I can equip a staff on a Templar and his main attack is a golden spear thrust?!

You just don't use the weapons you equip. I tried a DW Warden and the DW skill Flurry to force this, but the damage is terrible. I am supposed to spam a fucking Crow?! Huh?

All that out of my system, is there a decent class that actually uses the weapons you select? Or should I go caster since that's the easiest way to just accept that I won't be using melee really?
