Although if you're not good with electronics, then I don't know if YOU can make a laptop with it.

how are you planning on making your own laptop with non standardized parts

Oddly enough, the framework motherboard is standardized in a way that would make a very janky "laptop" quite feasible.

It has everything it needs on it (storage, CPU, RAM, IO) and four identical USB-C ports, so all you'd need to make it a "desktop" is to put it in a case, add power via USB-C cable and then use one of their dongles for DP/HDMI.

Now, what you could in theory do is put in a powerbank designed to charge a laptop, a portable miniscreen that is USB-C or DP/HDMI, add a tiny USB Keyboard and trackpad. Put it in a box, screw the screen to it or vice versa, and you can carry it. Not really a laptop, though, more a janky luggable.

Not sure why you would want to do something like this over just buying a used FW (or building one from used and new FW parts), but that is a different question.

Edit: Forgot about the wifi module, so you'd need that as well (M.2. thing on the motherboard) and the antenna. Should be easy though, this was foreseen in the coolermaster case as well.
