Bottleneck

Good evening, sorry if i didnt get the topic right. today i upgraded to I5-14600k with 32gb ddr5 6400 and a motherboard. I have a 2070 armor and i was wondering how much bottleneck will i experience and what budget friendly gpu should i upgrade to if necessary. Thank you!

There is no simple single answer. It always depends on particular workload/game. But that's a solid CPU so you can pair it with pretty much any GPU and be fine.

you could probably pair at max a 7800xt or 4070ti with it, maybe faster to be honest

So the 2070 isnt really gonna cut it ? I need to Walt a bit for a gpu upgrade (Money issue) so i was just wondering if the cpu will be held back a Lot

IDK what games at what settings you play or what you do... it depends. 2070 is still a capable card

You don't have to be worried about your CPU being 'held back'.  Your CPU is not going to perform worse just because you have a slower GPU than the CPU can handle.

I would say a 4070 Super or maybe even a 9070 XT is a good upgrade once you get the money  

 

In CPU heavy games you should actually see an improvement in framerate and 1% and 0.1% lows with a better CPU even with a 2070.
