$100 case suggestions

So i am looking at cases and i will have a budget of around 100$ cad to upgrade from my dell xps 8700 case.

 

Things i need;

good cable management space, behind the mobo tray.

Atx or matx with 5 slot expansion (mobo i want has 2nd pcie 16x slot in the bottom slot.)

1 5.25" bay for my optical drive

4 3.5" hdd mounts

good looks and build quality.

4 fan mounts, i dont need liquid cooling support

airflow to put 2 msi twin froser 280x in crossfire

 

please only suggest 100$ or less as i find 100$ excessive for a case

Corsair 500R is $99

yeah, i would prefer the h440 as i feel the r4 is overused but the 440 is a little bit over my price range

In that case a Corsair:whatever is affordable or like I said a CM.

i agree with others Define R4 and if you catch it on sale you could get it for like 89.99 like i did

The define R4 is your best option. It's also going to be 90% of the replies you get. The core 3000 and Arc Midi r2 are also a good cases.

 

The NZXT Phantom and Phantom 410 are solid. If you do end up swinging an extra $20, the Air 540 is awesome. The Cooler Master HAF 922 and Storm Scout are pretty good, if a little less refined looking. I also really like the HAF XB, but it's a different beast than the other cases mentioned.

yeah i looked at the 410, wouldnt mind it but i dont want to spend 110$ for it, i like the nzxt 220 and 210 looks too, adn they are only around 70-80$ so they are looking like good options to

Honestly, if you like the 410, it's only $10 over budget. It's the price of a couple sandwiches. I know it seems stupid to spend more than a hundred bucks on a case, but in reality a good case is an investment. If you buy a good one now, you won't have to buy one for your next build. So it's a bigger initial investment, but your cost per build is actually lower than it would be to buy a $70 case every few years (which leaves you with more money for the rest of your build!). So I'd say spend the extra 10/20 bucks and get the case you want.

This. My vote goes for this glorious case with lots of features for just $99.99. There is simply no contender at that price.

I mean years down the line, when you're buying a new motherboard and CPU. Presumably you won't have a 4770 until the day you die. But if you get a quality case, there won't be any real reason to get a new one when the time to upgrade comes.

Linus talks about this all the time. It's part of why he loves his TJ07 so much. It's expensive as balls, but he will probably never have to buy a new case. or at least not for a long, long time. Cases don't gain performance over the years, so you can use them for a long time.

well i dont need more than atx as i  will never 3 way sli and i dont want to water cool, it is to much for not that much reward, i think that the the nzxt 220 or 230t is all i need because they will be all i ever need for myself and they look better than the r4 imo, will be all that my upgrades need
